Brake-Control Packages better know as a line lock system allows the driver to "lock up" the front brakes while letting the rear wheels spin free to heat up the rear tires in the burnout box for better traction down the track. Not only is it a great way to warm up your tires, but you can also use the system to prevent a manual transmission cars from rolling out of the staging beams at the starting line.
Here is how the SLP Brake-Control Package works, simply press the brake pedal and flip the brake-control solenoid switch on. Remove your foot from the pedal, and the solenoid maintains line pressure to the front brakes until the switch is released. This saves wear and tear on your car's rear brake components from the old "left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas" method.
SLP Brake-Control kit is custom-fitted to the new Mustangs chassis, with no tweaking or fabrication required, and is fully compatible with the factory anti-lock braking and traction-control systems. It includes a waterproof electrical solenoid, an activation switch, plug-in wires, CNC-bent steel lines with correct OE fittings, mounting hardware, and detailed installation instructions.
